The Weeping Girl is a bronze version of the girl on the Monument to the Dead at the Père-Lachaise cemetery in Paris.This sculpture is a bronze version of the weeping girl on the Monument to the Dead. The monument has a Neo-Classical arrangement inspired by ancient Egyptian architecture. The girl weeps for the deceased on the left of the central doorway, the entrance to the afterlife.
